I spoke with Barb on Wednesday knowing that I would need to get my old system replaced. Friday morning Bob came out to check out my existing setup and write me up for a quote. That afternoon John and Sam squeezed me into their schedule, fixed a few items, and filled up my coolant. When they left, me and my pup were nice and cool. Both my husband and I were away, but my parents were able to meet the tech at our house. I had my annual boiler inspection a week ago to be ahead of winter. Mike showed up on time when the time came. He is a thoroughly professional and pleasant gentleman who has always treated my boiler with care and patience. I so appreciate his help. Wendy had answered the phone when I called for the appointment, and in a professional and pleasant way she took care of the scheduling and administrative needs. I never felt rushed, like I was taking too much of her time, but rather, I felt like the company was working to help me get what I was calling for. When the inspection was finished, I spoke later with Bob, who was making arrangements for the replacement parts. In his friendly and professional way, he answered the questions I had and assured me they would arrive and be installed as quickly as possible. In a couple of days the whole thing was accomplished. Air Specialties installed my boiler quite a few years ago, and they have maintained it fully ever since. Each person I have ever spoken to in the office or out in the field has always been courteous, knowledgeable, and professionally up to the task. Air Specialties did a phenomenal job of replacing my antiquated gas-fired hot air heating system. After 28 years the old 80% efficient unit finally quit in January of this year. The team quickly responded to analyze the situation and provided 2 options. We elected for a total replacement after consulting the technicians. They quickly ordered and installed the new system to accommodate us given the time of year and outside temperatures. We now have a 95% efficient unit, and Air Specialties is returning in a couple of weeks to replace the AC portion of the HVAC system. I highly recommend this company as the overall experience from sales to engineering to installation was first rate!

I have been using Air Specialties for well over 20 years as they installed and service my forced air furnace, my hot water heater, and my central A/C. I live in a 100+ year old house and all the mechanicals are in a "basement" with about 40 inches of height. Through the years, their techs have done a great job removing old units that came when I purchased the house, to helping think about newer systems to use and that could fit within my space. Working in my crawl space has never been an easy task and at times, they've had to have up to 4 techs work to pull out old systems that were heavy and unwieldy up narrow steps all while hunched over. When I converted my house from oil to gas, I had them make the equipment swaps. When we had flooding due to Katrina/Sandy, I had them replace the units. In short, they've handled just about every heating/cooling need. Their techs have been prompt and helpful, and their office staff is likewise responsive. I can't speak to their pricing as I haven't comparison shopped, but they do a really great job, they don't upsell me for services, they arrive on time and get the job done. I'm happy to support a business where they do good work and if I call them the next year, they know who I am and what my system looks like and can readily diagnose.

I bought and moved into a home about 1½ years ago, and had problems with the furnace the first winter, 2019. Air Specialties was recommended by my plumber. The technician, Jim, came out and discussed the problems he found with me and did repairs as necessary. Still had a few instances where the furnace would shut down but got through last winter. At the beginning of this winter, 2020, the furnace was just not reliable so decided that I should replace it. Bob came out and wrote up an estimate, and when I finally decided to go ahead, it was installed within 2 days. The two technicians, John and Pete, were here most of the day. They did a great job, were personable, answered any questions that I had, and did an excellent clean-up.

Three days after moving into a new home, my central air died! It was 90 degrees and we were melting. I was told by multiple companies it would take three weeks to come out, come on! I called Air Specialties on a Friday and explained to Bob that I wanted to convert from oil to gas, and advised him I did not have any heat. He stated he could arrive at my home on Monday and give me an estimate, which he did. He stated he can have his techs start the work ASAP, which I was so grateful for! As promised, the techs arrived two days later, exactly the time given to me, and started the work. The work was completed within 2 days (except for the gas, which they are not responsible for). Once the gas line was established and the air quality checked by the town, Air Specialties held their word and came back to complete the job and make sure the furnace was up and running. The professionalism of the staff is outstanding. To Bob, Wendy, and the technicians, I thank you! The estimate given to me was exact to the penny. I would highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.
