HVAC Service Technician

We are currently seeking a professional HVAC Service Technician with experience in residential/light commercial work. Must have D2, D1, or S2 license. Technician should be able to troubleshoot oil, gas & air conditioning systems & have their own hand tools.

Technician Tasks:

Keep inventory up to date.
Properly complete paperwork.
Participate in on call rotation.
Work overtime when the situation arises.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional.

HVAC Residential Installer

We are currently seeking a professional HVAC Lead Installer and Service Technicians with experience in residential and light commercial work.Installers should know how to measure up jobs and fabricate duct work fittings and install HVAC equipment.. Must have SM2 or D2 , or S2 license.

Schedule an appointment with Jeremy in the office for Monday April 12, 2025. I had requested a morning appointment with the tech Mike. I was told Mike was not available till the afternoon so I schedule for 3:00 pm. I receive a call at 1:15 the day of the app by Jeremy if could I be home earlier. My response was 2:00, Jeremy let me call you back, my response ok the 1:45. Answer the door and it’s not Mike. Nothing against the tech I called the office again squeaking to Jeremy, he said Mike wasn’t available in the afternoon today. Not only did they, Jeremy change my scheduled appointment, also changed the tech without any notice, yet! Jeremy knew this morning that Mike would not be available. I then asked for a discount for the inconvenience, according to Jeremy the manager Bob said “no discount” because a different tech arrived instead of Mike! That’s nonsense, Jeremy caused the entire app to change yet claiming it is what it is. I asked to speak to the owner, what a surprise the owner, the manager both are not available to speak to me. I know one or both are sitting in the office, it’s a tactic used when someone does not want to get on the phone. After 25 years of using this company “ a huge disappointment on how my app today was handled. The front line in any business is the office staff, Jeremy is not a person to be answering and scheduling appointments. Poor unprofessional business practice with him. Need to do better with a loyal, long time customer!!!

Unfortunately our gas furnace decided to die just after the new year. We decided to contract Air Specialties HVAC to replace the furnace and upgrade our antiquated analog thermostat. This was absolutely the right decision; they promptly responded the very next day and quickly had the new furnace up and running. The technicians were professional, courteous and thorough. [January 2024 follow up: Called Air Specialities for an annual checkup. Service was friendly and competent, as usual. Learned further details about our boiler and maintaining it properly. Reasonable fees for the checkup and minor replacement part needed. Always a pleasure working with AS!] Gave a great price when we needed a new boiler back in 2020. Installed promptly and professionally, and they came back to ensure all was working well. They have responded both times we have needed some assistance, and they diligently set about finding a solution each time. Always friendly, prompt, personable, and professional.

This team is an A+.I went to turn on my central air for the first time this season the beginning of last week and nothing happened. I spoke with Barb on Wednesday knowing that I would need to get my old system replaced. Friday morning Bob came out to check out my existing set up and write me up for a quote. That afternoon John and Sam squeezed me into their schedule, fixed a few items and filled up my coolant. When they left me and my pup were nice and cool. My AC wouldn’t go below 82 right at the start of the June ‘24 heatwave. Bob sent a specialist out the day after I called. The AC works good as new, and it was all done for a reasonable price. I now have a go to company for all my heating and cooling needs. Recommend them highly!
