Mike completed service on my water heater. He was professional, courteous, and efficient! He arrived on time, listened to my concerns, and took the time to answer all of my questions.
I had a thermocouple installed in my burnham Nat Gas boiler …the technician Mike answered all my questions and the office manager Jeremy accommodated my service request quickly and kept the appointment time accurate. The overall result was successful restoration of my home heat… many thanks
I had my first HVAC checkup and maintenance today with two technicians from Air Spec - Jim and Zack. They carefully explained everything that they would doing and took extra time listen to my questions and concerns. They were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The office staff kept me apprised of a short delay due to unusual weather conditions today. I have already committed to my next visit from Air Spec as feel that my system is in good hands. >> There have been two additional visits, with the same technicians, since my first review, both 5-star worthy. Skill, efficiency and service continue to be their watch words.
I don’t know what changed. Waiting for Owner to call back. 3 weeks and waiting. Some horrible customer service from the office. I will continue to wait but in the mean time I made a sign for my neighbors or anyone walking by. And there are a lot!
Just had our annual furnace inspection and maintenance. Zach was both personable and professional. We would be more than happy for him to handle issues affecting our heating or air conditioning. He is a pro.
We recently had a new boiler installed (converting from oil to gas) and were very impressed with the work. Air Specialties and specifically Lee, was reliable, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly.The installation was done neatly and on schedule, and everything has been running smoothly since. I purchased a new HVAC unit with heat coil from Air Specialties about 2 years ago. At the time, I reached out to several HVAC companies. Air Specialties was the only company that I felt actually heard what I was looking for and did not try to upsell.Recently I had two service pros - Jim and Zack come out for A/C maintenance. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained everything they were doing. They were efficient, professional, helpful and personable!I have been using Air Specialties for 8+ years for maintenance, emergency services and new HVAC unit. The entire company has proven to be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and timely! Excellent customer service!
I would not recommend this company.. for one they were never responsive on the phone and would never call back with emergencies, secondly were out 4 times and still could not fix the problem. Charged us for each visit, replaced parts that were not faulty such as a 300 dollar thermostat that was working fine. The last straw was when they were suppose to order a part that was under warranty and reported they would call when the part was available. Hence one month later and several phone calls to office and they stated each time that they have to talk with the technician and get back to us and also act like they have no idea what we are talking about.. moved onto a better company and the problem was fixed with the new part within aweek. Horrible company and service.. honestly would not even give a 1 star..
Schedule an appointment with Jeremy in the office for Monday April 12, 2025. I had requested a morning appointment with the tech Mike. I was told Mike was not available till the afternoon so I schedule for 3:00 pm. I receive a call at 1:15 the day of the app by Jeremy if could I be home earlier. My response was 2:00, Jeremy let me call you back, my response ok the 1:45. Answer the door and it’s not Mike. Nothing against the tech I called the office again squeaking to Jeremy, he said Mike wasn’t available in the afternoon today. Not only did they, Jeremy change my scheduled appointment, also changed the tech without any notice, yet! Jeremy knew this morning that Mike would not be available. I then asked for a discount for the inconvenience, according to Jeremy the manager Bob said “no discount” because a different tech arrived instead of Mike! That’s nonsense, Jeremy caused the entire app to change yet claiming it is what it is. I asked to speak to the owner, what a surprise the owner, the manager both are not available to speak to me. I know one or both are sitting in the office, it’s a tactic used when someone does not want to get on the phone. After 25 years of using this company “ a huge disappointment on how my app today was handled. The front line in any business is the office staff, Jeremy is not a person to be answering and scheduling appointments. Poor unprofessional business practice with him. Need to do better with a loyal, long time customer!!!
Unfortunately our gas furnace decided to die just after the new year. We decided to contract Air Specialties HVAC to replace the furnace and upgrade our antiquated analog thermostat. This was absolutely the right decision; they promptly responded the very next day and quickly had the new furnace up and running. The technicians were professional, courteous and thorough. I give my highest recommendation for all your HVAC needs. Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
[January 2024 follow up: Called Air Specialities for an annual checkup. Service was friendly and competent, as usual. Learned further details about our boiler and maintaining it properly. Reasonable fees for the checkup and minor replacement part needed. Always a pleasure working with AS!] Gave a great price when we needed a new boiler back in 2020. Installed promptly and professionally, and they came back to ensure all was working well. They have responded both times we have needed some assistance, and they diligently set about finding a solution each time. Always friendly, prompt, personable, and professional.
